Lesson 4-Dreaming God sized dreams

This week surprisingly enough I got the most out of the small video from the Action hero portion about Paul Robshaw. He talked about that dreams are reality without boundaries and to achieve great things we must ask ourselves that if we had those boundaries removed what would we do? Then once we have an answer to go after that dream. Over the past 5 years I have chosen to not allow myself to dream without boundaries because I did not believe that I could achieve the HUGE dreams I have for myself.

This feeling comes from a horrible experience I had with my ex-husband who verbally and emotionally abused me on a regular basis. I was told many times that I would never be good enough and that I would never have any of the things I was working for in my life. My life is now amazing and I am living out a huge number of the things I was working for in my life but there are some things that I still struggle with as a result of this experience.

This week's acton video reminded me of the God sized dreams, as I like to call them, that I have had written on my hear for a long time. I also realized this week that I am letting this boundary that someone else created, stop me from working towards those God sized dreams that I have in my life. As of today I am done letting that person affect the things I want in my life because I am the master of my life and the commander of my soul. I am capable of anything I want to achieve in this life if I am willing to work for it, and I am. 2017 is going to be an amazing year!

$100 challenge update: I thought a lot about what I wanted to choose to move forward with of the 5 and although people do not know what Lipsense is and what it involves I have decided that one of those ideas would best suite my passion and my audience that I have access to right now. I am anxious for the next steps in this process.

Lesson 3

This week was great and I truly enjoyed learning the things I was able to go over this week. The thing that was by far my favorite thing this week was the discussion board this week. While going through and creating my answers for the 5 things that I think would be the most successful it really allowed me to think about each of the options. As I was thinking about them I truly had to analyze whether or not they would be successful. Along with this I was able to then make an estimate on how much it would cost for me to be able to make each of those things happen in order to make money.

This activity was something I did not expect to be as difficult as it was but I gleaned some good information from it. First, I was able to find out that the logistics to what it will take to make the products for a company takes quite a bit more work then most would expect. Second, finding a group to market a product to is just as difficult as find the right product to create. Finding that group is something that takes considerable effort and time in order to find the right area of people. Thankfully for most of the things that I want to do for this project I already have a large audience for. Overall this discussion board taught me that there is a lot more that goes into business then just coming up with a good idea.

Lesson 2

Weeks Reflection:
This week was a really good learning experience and one of my favorite things that I learned was that I need to say "I can't" less often to myself and starting telling myself that "I can" do things, even when they are scary. I was self reflecting this week and I realized that I was telling myself many times a day that I could not do something because I was afraid of doing it or the voice in my head (Satan) told me that I could not do it. This is denying my opportunities to succeed and excel in my life and I am sick and tired of robbing myself of those opportunites. My goal for the rest of this semester is to start telling myself that "I CAN!" 10 times for ever time that I tell myself that I can't do something.

$100 Challenge Update-:
I have been brainstorming ideas all day today and all I can think about is my Senegence (Lipsense) business and what I could do to both improve my own business but help the other amazing girls on my team. The two main idea I am thinking about running with are below:

1. Selling scratch tickets: This tickets will have 3-6 scratch off spaces on them that you can give to your customers that purchase as a way to bring back repeat business. These will includes spots that could have the following on them:
5% off
10% off
15% off
Free Color
Free Gloss
Free Shipping
No Tax
$5 off an order of $50 or more
Free gift with purchase

2. Selling stock picture packets: There are not a lot of great stock pictures for Lipsense or for Senegence products in general. As a result I would like to take 20-30 professional pictures for each month/holiday in that month and offer them to girls for $5-$10. I believe that this would be something that would not only help their businesses but would allow for each of the girls to look more professional in their marketing/brand.
